Program Overview

The MDS program prepares students to analyze development challenges, design effective policies, and lead institutional reform. The curriculum integrates theory, research methods, and applied practice.


A 2‑year (4‑semester), 36–42 credit program, with clear pathways, competencies, and capstone options. It reflects contemporary development thinking (institutional economics, governance, political economy, data for development, sustainability, and policy design) including practical for professionals.

A one‑year diploma providing foundational training in development theory, policy, and practice.

  • Electives (3 credits)

Course Description for the PGDDS is the same as the MDS program.
